The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Bowen Hills. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong and analytically driven finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and delivering meaningful insights to support business performance. This is a primarily office-based role, with flexibility to work from home on an ad-hoc basis when required. Conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from Fortitude Valley train station, the organisation also offers free on-site staff parking. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance across the business, including: Leading the management accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Preparing monthly management reports, including variance and performance analysis Driving budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts Delivering financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions Developing and enhancing reporting dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial guidance Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) Proven experience in a Senior Management Accountant or similar role Strong Excel skills (advanced modelling, data manipulation, reporting) Experience delivering insights through financial analysis and reporting Exposure to ERP systems and data-driven environments Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong commercial acumen What’s on Offer Competitive salary package $120,000 – $130,000 super Free on-site parking plus excellent public transport access Flexible and supportive team environment Opportunity to influence business decisions and drive improvements Ad-hoc work-from-home flexibility when needed Please apply with current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
