Just finished your Construction Management degree and want to get into a builder where you'll actually learn how projects come together from the ground up? This is a genuine entry point into the industry with a builder that develops and delivers its own work. You'll start in estimation, learning how projects are priced, scoped and planned, before progressing into project delivery and eventually project management as your experience grows. Rather than being boxed into one task, you'll work closely with experienced directors and senior staff across the full lifecycle of projects. You'll learn how decisions are made, how jobs are won and how construction actually works behind the scenes. In this role, you'll assist with take-offs, subcontractor pricing, procurement support and tender preparation while gaining exposure to live projects and site operations. Over time, you'll build an understanding of budgeting, programming, contract administration and project coordination. The business delivers architecturally designed homes up to $60 million across Melbourne. Their work is design-focused, detail-driven and built with a strong emphasis on quality and client experience. This suits someone in their final year of university or someone who has recently graduated in Construction Management. Any exposure to construction through internships, labouring or cadet work will help, but attitude matters more than experience. You'll do well here if you're switched on, organised and prepared to ask questions. The people who progress fastest are those who stay curious, take initiative, and want to build a long-term career in construction. Salary is $66k, including super. If you have a trade background or already have time in the role, it is up to $80k, including super.
