Light Years Noosa is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead its front-of-house operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Lead, supervise, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Recruit, train, roster, and develop restaurant team members. Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and ongoing support. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Handle customer feedback, complaints, and enquiries professionally and effectively. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house. Manage restaurant reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow. Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of beverages, consumables, and operational supplies. Control labour costs, wage budgets, and operational expenses. Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities and events. Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, food safety regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and company policies. Prepare operational reports and assist in achieving revenue and profitability targets. Maintain high presentation standards throughout the venue. Foster a positive workplace culture and encourage teamwork across all departments. Skills and Experience Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field and/or at least 2 years of relevant management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proven experience managing restaurant operations, staff rostering, and service delivery. Sound knowledge of food safety, RSA requirements, and workplace health and safety regulations. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Current RSA certification.
