Light Years Noosa is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Waiter to join our dynamic front-of-house team. Key Duties and Responsibilities Welcome and seat guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Present menus, explain dishes, daily specials, and beverage options to customers. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond to requests professionally. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wines, cocktails, and other beverages. Process customer payments and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately. Set up, clear, and reset tables efficiently to ensure smooth service operations. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, service stations, and front-of-house facilities. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including stock replenishment and venue preparation. Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Follow responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue policies. Comply with food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene standards. Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment and support colleagues during busy service periods. Skills and Experience Relevant hospitality qualification and/or at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a busy restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent grooming and professional presentation. Current RSA certification (or ability to obtain). Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
