Benefits West Perth Senior Medical Receptionist / Patient Services Officer /Clinical Administrator Immediate Start Full-time opportunity up to 38 to 40 hours a week On-site parking available Monday to Friday only The Position An established and highly regarded specialist medical practice in West Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist / Clinical Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive health care professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. Working closely with the Practice Manager, clinicians and support staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. This position is ideal for an experienced medical receptionist, clinical administrator, enrolled nurse, registered nurse, or health care professional looking to utilise their clinical knowledge in a senior administration capacity. Key responsibilities include: Managing front desk operations and patient enquiries Coordinating appointments, procedures and follow-up bookings Handling incoming calls and correspondence Medicare billing, invoicing and patient payments Processing referrals and maintaining accurate patient records Liaising with patients, referrers and health care providers Supporting the clinical team with administrative and operational requirements Assisting with inventory and stock management of clinical supplies Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently About You Previous experience in medical reception or health care administration A nursing, clinical or allied health background will be highly regarded Understanding of how specialist clinics, GP practices or procedural environments operate Experience with Medicare billing and patient administration Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organisational ability A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Takes ownership and accountability Learns quickly and adapts to changing priorities Is highly organised and efficient Enjoys working in a busy health care environment Provides outstanding patient care and support Focuses on accuracy and getting things done How to Apply If you're looking for a rewarding role where your health care knowledge and administration skills will be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
