About the Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager Transformation, you will play a key role in shaping how Southern Cross Care Tasmania communicates with employees, residents, families, volunteers, partners and the wider community. From executive communications and change initiatives to marketing campaigns, storytelling and brand stewardship, you'll help ensure every interaction reflects who we are, what we stand for and where we're heading. You'll work across the organisation, partnering with leaders, project teams and external providers to deliver communication and marketing outcomes that are engaging, professional and aligned with our values. This is a broad and varied role that combines communications, marketing, engagement, branding and project support. You'll enjoy variety, balancing multiple priorities while working across different business areas and initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Lead Engagement & Communication Initiatives Support major organisational projects, BAU and transformation activities through effective communication and engagement activities. Help build communication approaches that are consistent, effective and people-focused. Create Content That Connects Develop engaging content across a variety of channels including digital, print, web, intranet and social platforms. Draft executive messages, organisational updates and key stakeholder communications. Bring stories to life through creative and compelling content. Drive Marketing & Brand Activity Coordinate marketing campaigns that support service awareness, occupancy and community engagement. Maintain and strengthen brand consistency across all channels and materials. Work closely with creative agencies and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes. Support advertising campaigns across print, digital, radio and social media channels. Coordinate marketing activities that promote services, organisational initiatives and community engagement opportunities. Support Employee Engagement Develop and coordinate employee engagement initiatives via communication mechanisms that strengthen organisational culture and connection. Support internal events, staff communications, leadership updates and employee engagement campaigns. Support Organisational Transformation Partner with leaders across the business to communicate change effectively. Help employees understand, engage with and contribute to organisational priorities. Ensure communication activities support positive employee and stakeholder experiences. About You You're a natural storyteller with exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for creating meaningful engagement and resources. You bring a blend of creativity, organisation and sound judgement, and you're equally comfortable developing content, managing activities and building strong relationships. You are a marketing and communications generalist who enjoys working across a broad range of tasks, from strategic communications and employee engagement through to campaign coordination and brand promotion. Ideally you will have: Experience in communications, marketing and engagement. Outstanding written communication skills and attention to detail. Experience developing content across multiple channels and audiences. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience working with digital communication platforms, websites and content management systems. A collaborative and proactive approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver. Creative thinking skills with the ability to develop engaging campaigns, content and communication initiatives. Strong visual awareness and attention to detail. Experience within health, aged care, community services or a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded, but isn't essential. Why Join Us?
