Job Description The Finance Manager role is a genuine all-rounder based out of the Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the CEO and supported by a small team, core responsibilities include: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic goals. Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to guide decision-making at a senior level. Manage cash flow and ensure the organisation's financial stability and compliance. Develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures to optimise efficiency. Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives. Monitor and report on financial risks, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Manager should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications highly regarded. Strong expertise in financial management, with exposure to FMCG, Food Service or Distribution particularly valued. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve financial goals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, and comfort engaging at Executive level. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
