Job description Troocoo Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued QLD Government client in the recruitment of multiple AO4 Finance Officers to join a high-performing finance team supporting the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across the North Coast Region. These are full-time agency labour hire contracts initially through to June 2028, based in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. The roles are offering between $60.06 and $65.81 per hour super, depending on experience and suitability. The Roles Reporting to the Senior Advisor (Finance), the AO4 Finance Officers will provide financial administration, governance and project support across a large portfolio of infrastructure projects. Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you will play a key role in ensuring project financial activities are completed accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures. As the AO4 Finance Officer you will be required to (however not limited): Prepare, review and submit financial approval documentation Process Building Industry Fairness (BIF) claims Prepare and process journals, including timesheet journals Undertake contract reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Review and action cost sheet line-item requests Liaise with Project Managers regarding project financial requirements Maintain financial tracking registers and records within Excel and SharePoint Conduct governance and compliance checks prior to processing requests Monitor and follow up outstanding financial actions Provide financial advice and support to project teams and stakeholders Assist with training and guidance for team members and Project Managers as required Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives About You To be considered a competitive applicant, you would demonstrate: Previous experience in finance administration, project finance, accounts, or contract administration roles Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Experience processing journals, reconciliations, financial approvals or project-related financial transactions Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working across multiple systems Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships Experience working within infrastructure, construction, engineering, project delivery or government environments will be highly regarded The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please apply now with an updated CV and cover letter.
