Large complex growing business Flexible hybrid working $100-$120k super / 8m FTC Our client is a major Australian healthcare operator with an extensive hospital network. Its Property and Infrastructure function plays a central role in modernising facilities, enhancing patient environments and aligning capital investment with evolving models of care. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can operate with confidence in live clinical environments, with a focus on various hospitals across Greater Brisbane area and some potential travel to the Northen Territory. This opportunity suits a professional who understands the balance between construction delivery and operational continuity, particularly where patient care and clinical services cannot be disrupted. Role scope and responsibilities: You will take full ownership of capital projects from planning through to handover, ensuring delivery aligns with strict governance, safety and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include: Lead end to end delivery of capital projects within live hospital environments • Manage project scope, programme, budget and risk registers • Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders across clinical, ICT and engineering functions • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, statutory approvals and safety standards • Engage closely with hospital leadership including General Managers and clinical teams • Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks and performance • Support procurement strategies, contract administration and commercial outcomes • Contribute to continuous improvement of capital delivery frameworks and processes This role requires a technically capable Senior Project Manager with experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in healthcare / hospital environments. Key requirements: 7 to 10 years experience delivering capital or infrastructure projects end to end • Proven experience working in hospital settings or similarly regulated live environments • Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management • Experience managing consultants and contractors across multiple workstreams • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, statutory approvals and building standards • Strong understanding of construction, engineering and services coordination • Experience with contract administration and cost management • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar preferred • Project management certification or professional affiliation advantageous Personal attributes: Able to operate in complex, high pressure environments • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across clinical and operational teams • Detail focused with sound judgement and problem solving ability • High level of accountability and commitment to safety The role will commence as a 12 month fixed term contract and may transition to permanent. It will pay circa $200 - $225K as a package, with some potential flexibility for a superstar. Working most of the time onsite at the hospitals with some work from home days.
