Large complex growing business Flexible hybrid working $100-$120k super / 8m FTC The Opportunity A senior leadership position within a large-scale national retail environment responsible for delivering complex construction and fit out programs across a high-volume retail network. This role oversees end to end delivery of new builds, refurbishments and strategic capital works with an annual budget exceeding $100M. This position suits an experienced construction project leader who has operated at scale within retail, commercial or multi-site environments and is comfortable balancing leadership. delivery, financial performance and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities Lead statewide construction and fit out programs from feasibility through to completion Manage delivery against scope, programme and budget while maintaining operational continuity in live environments Drive safety, quality and compliance across all projects and teams Oversee financial performance including forecasting, cost control and approvals Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultants and suppliers Partner with internal teams across property, finance, operations and procurement Contribute to strategic planning and long-term network growth Lead, mentor and develop a team of circa 9 construction professionals Ensure governance, risk management and reporting frameworks are consistently applied Experience and Background Extensive experience in construction project / program management within retail multi-site environments Proven leadership of large multidisciplinary teams Experience managing large capital programmes ideally $100M plus Strong understanding of delivering projects in live operational environments Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and tender management Knowledge of Australian building codes and compliance standards Technical and Professional Skills Strong financial management and cost control capability Advanced program management and delivery experience Ability to develop construction and design solutions to complex challenges High level stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills Extensive experience leading and motivating teams Who This Role Suits An experienced Construction Program Leader who has led teams across both delivery and strategy, within retail.
