Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits. Deflector processing facilities consist of a CIP circuit and a second ball mill, along with crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering circuits. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water, drainage, gas, and sanitary systems across operational site facilities and village/accommodation areas. This position will be offered on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth. What we offer: Gold commodity is offering a stable future Base salary superannuation 8:6 family friendly roster Key responsibilities of this role will include: Undertake preventative maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs on all plumbing infrastructure, piping systems, fixtures, and associated equipment. Maintain site RO (Reverse Osmosis) plants. Maintain site Waste Water Treatment Plant. Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise. Build and maintain vendor relationship management. Report safety and environmental hazards to mitigate and reduce incidents. Ensure all stock items used are booked out of the store. Prioritise and respond quickly to urgent breakdowns to minimise impacting productions and safety. Manage plumbing work orders and ensure documentation has relevant sign offs. About You Plumbing trade qualification Current plumbing licence Minimum of 2 years’ post trade qualification experience Experience working in the Australian Mining industry (desirable not essential) Experience maintaining Reverse Osmosis plats and Waste Water Treatment Plants and relevant quality parameters and Australian standards.
