About the role The Client Implementation Analyst plays a key role in the efficient delivery of all client implementation activities at First Sentier Group. The role supports the onboarding and lifecycle management of institutional and wholesale clients, ensuring operational readiness, strong governance, and a consistently high-quality client experience. The role holder contributes to maintaining a high-quality control environment across the team and will execute tasks in line with established processes and procedures, while also supporting the documentation and improvement of processes where required. The role requires flexibility to move between detailed analysis and light-touch coordination of activities across multiple stakeholders. About you You will bring relevant financial services experience and a strong operational mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities. Experience ¡ Experience within asset management, asset servicing, or a related financial services environment ¡ Exposure to client onboarding, client change, or operational delivery processes ¡ Familiarity with AUSTRAC compliant client due diligence, including coordination of KYC/AML ¡ Experience working with internal operational teams and/or outsourced service providers Strong understanding of regulatory, operational and service‑provider dependencies to ensure audit‑ready, risk‑based onboarding outcomes Skills ¡ Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail ¡ Well organised, with an understanding of basic project management principles ¡ Client-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability ¡ Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority ¡ Comfortable working independently, within a team, or in a matrix environment ¡ Adaptable, proactive, and improvement oriented. Key Responsibilities Client Life Cycle ¡ Coordinate operational onboarding activities with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness ¡ Support mandate changes, transitions, and terminations, ensuring accurate and timely execution ¡ Oversee client account opening and ongoing due diligence activities supported by service providers Client AML/KYC ¡ Act as a key contact for institutional client onboarding activity ¡ Manage the delivery of AUSTRAC-compliant client onboarding and ongoing due diligence by applying risk-based controls and maintaining audit-ready documentation. ¡ Maintain AML control registers and record retention processes for segregated mandates, including reconciliation and deletion controls. ¡ Support AML audits and regulatory reporting, liaising internally to resolve alerts and close findings. Contracts governance ¡ Support the administration of Investment Management Agreements and distribution agreements ¡ Coordinate agreement reviews, amendments, and related documentation ¡ Maintain accurate records and registers in line with internal governance standards Client centricity ¡ Deliver a consistently high-quality client experience, internally and externally ¡ Act on feedback to support continuous improvement of processes and controls ¡ Ensure issues, errors, or near misses are escalated and addressed appropriately Process management and continuous improvement ¡ Maintain and update procedures, checklists, and supporting documentation ¡ Produce management information and reporting as required ¡ Support forums or working groups relating to client onboarding and change activity.
