Requirements About the Opportunity Ready to take your fire protection career to the next level? With a strong pipeline of work — including newly secured QBuild projects — we have multiple full-time, permanent opportunities for Fire Technicians, Sprinkler Fitters & Portables Technicians to join our Asset Services team on the Sunshine Coast. This is your chance to work across a diverse range of sites, including government, commercial and critical infrastructure projects, backed by long-term contracts and stable workflow. Fire Technician – Responsibilities Service, inspect, test and fault-find Fire Detection & Emergency Warning Systems Maintain and repair associated control and indication equipment Service and test exit and emergency lighting systems Carry out repairs, upgrades and system renewals Sprinkler Fitter – Responsibilities Inspect, test and maintain fire sprinklers, hydrants & hose reels Work across pump systems, special hazards and wet fire systems Deliver compliant and high-quality servicing in line with Australian Standards Portables Technician – Responsibilities Install, service and maintain portable fire equipment (extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants) Carry out compliance checks in line with Australian Standards Provide recommendations to clients on fire protection and safety equipment About You QBCC Licence (essential) Current manual driver’s licence Ability to pass pre-employment & ongoing D&A screening EAHL Classes 2, 3 & 6 (highly regarded) Experience in hazardous areas (advantageous) Previous experience in fire protection / portables roles Experience with Uptick (highly regarded) Comfortable using tablets/smart phones Able to work autonomously and within a team Strong focus on safety, compliance and quality workmanship Ability to provide great customer service while delivering technical solutions Clear communication with team members and supervisors Commitment to company policies and Australian Standards Ability to obtain a current police clearance (required for secure environments) What CV Can Offer You Competitive hourly rate overtime on-call allowance Stable, long-term work including recently secured QBuild projects Fully maintained vehicle or vehicle allowance fuel tolls Flexible RDOs Ongoing training and career progression Tools, uniform and support to do your job well Employee rewards, retail discounts & wellbeing support Strong team culture with regular social events About CV CV Services Group has been delivering integrated trade solutions since the early 1980s across electrical, plumbing, building and signage.
