Are you an experienced AEM Forms Developer who enjoys building, maintaining and improving business-critical digital application platforms? This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a large public-sector organisation, supporting core business applications used across a complex customer-focused environment. The role will suit a hands-on developer with strong Adobe AEM Forms, Java and integration experience who can work across development, support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. The Opportunity You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing key application platforms to ensure they remain current, efficient, reliable and fit for purpose. Working closely with the Digital Development Manager and broader technology stakeholders, you will deliver system changes, support application performance, and contribute to the quality and stability of digital services. Key responsibilities In this role, you will: Develop, maintain and support Adobe AEM Forms solutions Build and enhance PDF and HTML forms Develop custom Java components for use in AEM applications Support system changes through development, testing, debugging and documentation Troubleshoot performance issues across the application, database and network layers Maintain and improve core application platforms Work with customers and stakeholders from project inception through to deployment Contribute to knowledge sharing, support quality and team capability uplift What you will bring To be successful, you will ideally have: Strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM Forms 5 years' Java development experience, including exposure to OSGi and Sling 2 years' experience developing applications in Adobe AEM 6.x Ability to design and build PDF and HTML forms, XML schemas and custom AEM Java components Practical skills across JavaScript, jQuery and Microsoft SQL Server Confidence troubleshooting performance issues across application, database or network layers Advanced capability in development, testing, debugging and technical documentation Clear communication skills and the ability to support stakeholders from project inception through to deployment A positive, collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and support others .NET experience would be highly regarded Apply now Please apply with your latest resume for a confidential discussion.
