Senior Advisor – Biosecurity / Medical Entomology About the Role A unique opportunity for a globally recognised expert in biosecurity and medical entomology to provide strategic advisory support across international markets. This role may be structured as a consultant or future permanent position and will focus on shaping biosecurity strategy at a global level. Key Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on border biosecurity and bio-threat mitigation , particularly relating to insects and vector-borne risks Advise on policy, regulatory frameworks, and international best practices Engage with government bodies, international organisations, and industry stakeholders Support strategy development across regions including APAC and the Americas Contribute to thought leadership and influence global biosecurity standards Collaborate with internal teams to enhance technical capability and market positioning Requirements Extensive experience in medical entomology or related biosecurity disciplines Recognised authority with experience advising governments, international agencies, or global programs Strong understanding of border control procedures and biosecurity frameworks Experience engaging with organisations such as WHO, government agencies, or similar bodies Ability to influence at senior levels across multiple countries Profile Ideal candidates will be: A globally respected expert in their field Comfortable operating across government, policy, and commercial environments A strong communicator capable of influencing at the highest levels A strategic thinker with a global perspective on biosecurity risks and solutions
