Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, you will provide evidence-based care, including assessments, care planning, documentation, and medication administration within your scope. The role involves monitoring patient/resident wellbeing, reporting changes, and supporting involvement of families and carers. You will also contribute to team meetings and quality activities, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager About us: The Penshurst & District Health Service consists of 4 acute beds and the Penshurst Nursing Homeprovides permanent accommodation for 29 residents. This incorporates 19 high care nursing home beds and 10 low care nursing home beds. It offers nursing care to the frail, elderly and disabled in our community. The facility offers shared and single rooms and provides an environment of comfort, dignity and security. Penshurst is a small township that is located 30 kilometres south east of Hamilton and is home to beautiful bluestone buildings, an annual horse race, botanic gardens with a swimming pool, bowling green and caravan park. Penshurst is located near a never-failing spring and perched on one of Australia’s most significant volcanic landscapes, cosied up beside the now dormant volcano of Collorrer (Mount Rouse) which is home to wallabies, kangaroos and other native species.
