Prime Recruitment on behalf of our client based in Henderson is in the market for another 5 x Boilermakers for our client. The role will involve general boilermaking and fabrication duties, including but not limited to: Read and interpret shop detail drawings Mark out, cut, drill, grind, prepare, fit and fabricate steel components. Fabricate pipework, including small bore and large bore pipe spools. Fabricate structural steel, including beams, columns, brackets and associated steelwork. Fabricate platework, including chutes, hoppers, guards and similar items. Fabricate mechanical steelwork, including skids, frames, supports and general fabricated assemblies. Carry out fit-up work to suit welding requirements and drawing tolerances. Use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly. Handle steel materials safely, including manual handling and use of lifting equipment. Operate workshop overhead cranes where competent and authorised. Work in accordance with drawings, job cards, specifications and quality requirements. Required Experience: Trade qualification or demonstrated experience as a boilermaker/fabricator. Experience in a steel fabrication workshop. Ability to work from fabrication drawings with minimal supervision. Competency using grinders, drills, oxy/acetylene and oxy/LPG cutting equipment and general workshop tools. Experience with structural steel, platework, pipework and mechanical fabrication.
