About the opportunity This role involves managing the South Australian sales territory, developing client relationships, supporting distributor partners, and driving business growth. The territory covers Adelaide metro, surrounding regional areas and the entire state of South Australia. For the right person, the role may also include quarterly trips to the Northern Territory. The position requires frequent travel for face-to-face meetings, site visits, product demonstrations and technical sales support. In this role, you will: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and end users Conduct site visits, deliver product demonstrations, and provide technical sales support Develop new business opportunities across welding, manufacturing, mining, maintenance, structural steel and related industries Strengthen distributor partnerships through product training, joint customer visits and collaborative sales activities Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales KPIs, manage pipeline activity and report on progress Use CRM insights to identify opportunities, plan territory activity and support sales forecasting Maintain consistent territory coverage across South Australia, with potential quarterly travel to the Northern Territory Stay updated on welding industry trends, workplace safety requirements and product innovations About you We are seeking a self-motivated sales professional with a strong technical background in welding or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to sales and the ability to manage their territory autonomously. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience in sales, business development, or account management Strong skills in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Experience working with end users, distributors, or channel partners Previous experience managing a CRM system, ideally Salesforce Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Confidence conducting site visits, product demonstrations and technical discussions A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across South Australia What's on offer This role offers the chance to work with a respected industry leader, with long-term growth and a dynamic career path.
