As demand for advanced livestock management solutions continues to grow, they are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of their South Australian territory. This is a highly autonomous field-based role that would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with livestock producers and has the energy and drive to develop a thriving regional territory. You'll work directly with farmers, rural resellers and industry stakeholders, delivering practical solutions that make a real difference on-farm. Role As the South Australian representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales throughout the state. You'll work closely with sheep, cattle and goat producers, support and expand the reseller network, and identify opportunities to introduce innovative livestock identification and management products into the marketplace. The role involves regular on-farm visits, product demonstrations, participation in field days and industry events, and maintaining close relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Working from your home office, you will enjoy the flexibility and independence to manage your own diary while receiving strong support from an experienced national sales team. Requirements Extensive practical experience within the livestock sector. Backgrounds in station management, livestock agencies, rural merchandise, agribusiness or agricultural sales will be highly regarded. Strong understanding of livestock production systems and producer needs. A relationship-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven and capable of managing a large regional territory with minimal supervision. Interest in livestock identification, traceability systems and emerging agricultural technologies. Formal qualifications are not essential—industry knowledge, credibility and practical experience are what matter. Remuneration & Location A highly competitive remuneration package is available, including salary, fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and incentive structure. The preferred location is the Adelaide region, although flexibility exists for the right candidate within South Australia.
