I am recruiting for a global leader in the production of engineered products to find a Logistics Officer to support operations across a manufacturing facility in Jandakot, Western Australia. There is a high chance this contract will be extended or a permanent contract awarded to the successful candidate after 6 months. Main job Duties: Coordinating all international and Australia-wide logistics freight movements, ensuring compliance with trade requirements for Australian Customs, Defence Export Control Office, and dangerous goods regulations (imports and exports) Maintaining effective communication between SCM and operations teams to ensure expectations are met Preparing international export commercial invoices and all required documentation Compiling and maintaining job-related correspondence and documentation Monitoring all incoming and outgoing shipments Ensuring finished goods transfers, goods issues, and shipping activities are completed accurately and on time Your skillset requirements: Safe & efficient forklift operation - must have forklift license Dangerous Goods Qualified Experience picking and packing high volume deliveries Strong manual handling capability Strong safety awareness
