Your role at St John of God Health Care We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager, Group Supply Logistics to join our team within a leading not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Operations, this role is responsible for the efficient, cost-effective delivery of supply logistics services across Western and Eastern Region hospitals and services. This is a key leadership position, working in partnership with Divisional CEOs, Directors, and Managers to optimise supply performance, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure high-quality service delivery aligned to organisational goals. You will lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of supply logistics operations, ensuring services meet the needs of multiple hospital divisions in a timely, sustainable, and effective manner. The role also plays a critical part in shaping supply management strategies, policies, and programs. The Position Support Divisional Chief Executive Officer (CEO’s), directors and managers with analysis and strategies to manage supply costs. Ensure that the supply service meets the needs of all Western / Eastern Region divisions and are delivered in a timely, appropriate and cost effective manner. Assisting in the development and review of Supply management strategies, policies and programs. Management of the implementation and effective utilization of supply and business technology and initiatives (including e:commerce). Day to day leadership of the Western / Eastern Region Logistical Supply Service. Provide advice and support to divisional CEO’s, directors and Managers with Analysis and control of supply costs Manage the Implementation and effective utilization of supply chain initiatives including Supply System upgrades, rollouts and e:commerce initiatives. Develop and deliver education and training to senior managers and other staff in the areas of supply logistics. Ensure that supply staff are adequately involved with all Group Supply Service communication and activities Assist the Manager Supply Operations with: Development and achievement of the supply service operational plan/Preparation and monitoring of the supply service Western Region operating budget/Development and analysis of Key Performance Indicators/Development and monitoring of Service Level Agreements with divisions. You will bring formal qualifications in procurement and contract management (or be working towards these), or demonstrate at least four years’ experience managing a best-practice supply chain within a medium to large organisation, coupled with high-level leadership, management, organisational and planning capabilities. You will also possess highly developed negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively influence outcomes, manage supplier relationships, and deliver value-driven, sustainable supply solutions. You will demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. You will have advanced communication skills and solid research and analytical capability, enabling you to prepare and present clear, insightful reports that support decision-making. To succeed, you will bring strong technical skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with integrated MRP systems. You will also have accurate and efficient keyboarding and data entry skills suited to a fast-paced environment. We can offer you Salary: $124,196 to $137,946 per annum, plus 12% superannuation Based from our Perth, Kings Square office Permanent, full-time opportunity – working 38 hours per week Working from home arrangement in place – minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
