Our clients, are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to take ownership of the accounts receivable function for a highly regarded boutique law firm based in the heart of Prahran. About the Role This position is ideal for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is process-driven, systems-savvy, and communicates confidently with clients and colleagues alike. You will take responsibility for the full accounts receivable function, ensuring debtors are managed effectively and all related processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Processing accounts receivable transactions Managing debtor collections and following up overdue accounts Handling customer account enquiries by phone and email Preparing and issuing monthly statements Coordinating debt recovery matters with external collection agencies Managing invoice holds, credit notes, debtor adjustments, and client credits Ensuring all debtor correspondence is filed electronically Revenue imports and uploads Year-end reconciliations, schedules, bad debt provisions, and marketing fund audits Responding to daily emails and general accounts administration Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3 years' experience in a similar Accounts Receivable position Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work independently and take ownership of your role Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Experience using Xero and/or MYOB (highly regarded) What's on Offer?
