Position Purpose An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Income Protection Scheme Program Manager to lead and oversee the administration and governance of an interim Income Protection (IP) scheme. This role will act as the central accountable owner of the scheme, managing key relationships across insurers, claims management providers and internal stakeholders to ensure strong governance, compliance, operational performance and service delivery outcomes. You will also play a key role in transitioning the scheme into a long-term business-as-usual model while contributing to future-state planning and implementation. Key Details Melbourne CBD location Hybrid working arrangements 3 month contract role Contract governance and stakeholder management focus Lead transition and continuous improvement initiatives Work within a highly regulated environment The Opportunity Reporting to the Director, Safety & Recovery, this role will see you: Lead oversight of the interim IP scheme Manage insurer and vendor relationships Drive governance, compliance and risk management Oversee reporting, data quality and financial reconciliation Lead project delivery and transition activities Provide strategic IP advice to leaders and stakeholders Develop frameworks, processes and operational improvements Manage stakeholder engagement and executive reporting Ensure legislative and contractual compliance This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, commercial acumen and the ability to influence across a broad stakeholder group.
