The projects this team are undertaking form part of the 2032 Delivery Plan, supporting world-class public transport infrastructure ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation transport transformation on the Sunshine Coast. As the Principal Advisor (Finance), you will play a critical role in managing and reporting on the financial performance of this high-profile integrated Program. You will provide expert financial insight, drive reporting excellence, and support decision-making across senior leadership and governance groups. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver high-quality financial reports Design and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards (including Power BI) Provide insightful financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis Partner with the Finance Team of a different region to manage monthly cash flow processes Maintain accurate financial records across systems including SAP and Oracle Primavera Unifier (3PCM) About You To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and capable finance professional who brings both technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will bring: Professional qualifications – CPA and/or tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or business (or equivalent experience) Strong financial management experience – budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and analysis Experience in government finance roles (highly regarded) Proficiency in SAP (desirable) and strong capability in Microsoft tools, including Power BI Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Leadership in financial management and reporting A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy Adaptability and resilience in a complex project environment The successful applicant will be required to undertake a police check.
