Sunshine Coast Location 3 year contract Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Principal Advisor (Finance) An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced finance professional to join a major infrastructure program delivering transformational transport projects on the Sunshine Coast. This role sits within an integrated project team responsible for supporting the delivery of significant transport infrastructure initiatives that will contribute to the region's long-term growth and connectivity. The successful candidate will provide financial leadership, reporting and analysis to support effective project governance and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver financial reports for a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Design and maintain financial reporting tools, dashboards and performance metrics. Provide financial analysis including variance reporting, trend analysis and forecasting. Support monthly cash flow management and reporting activities. Maintain financial records and reconciliations within SAP, Oracle Primavera Unifier (3PCM) and other project systems. Work collaboratively with project teams, finance teams and governance stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Contribute as a senior member of the Project Controls team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the program. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: CPA qualification and/or tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial management and reporting. Experience working within a government environment in a finance leadership or management capacity. Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI. Experience developing financial dashboards and reporting solutions. High-level analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide meaningful insights. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. A commitment to financial governance, compliance and continuous improvement. Desirable Experience SAP experience. Experience working within large infrastructure, capital works or project delivery environments. Exposure to Oracle Primavera Unifier (3PCM) or similar project controls systems.
