Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Identify and handle a variety of plant species, carrying out planting, transplanting, and establishment works in accordance with landscape plans and project specifications. Prepare, test, and treat soils to support landscape construction and planting activities, including the application of soil amendments and conditioning materials. Read and interpret landscape plans and specifications, and implement landscape works to achieve required design outcomes. Construct and install landscape features, including paving, retaining walls, fencing, edging, drainage, and irrigation systems. Establish planting areas, including turf laying and garden bed formation, and undertake plant establishment and care. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery, including mowers, trimmers, compactors, and irrigation equipment. Assist in organising daily landscaping tasks and materials to support efficient delivery of landscape construction projects. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and environmental requirements during all landscaping and construction activities. Communicate with clients and team members to clarify job requirements and support the effective delivery of landscaping works. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III or IV in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or equivalent experience. At least one year of proven experience as a Landscape Gardener. Proficiency in using landscaping tools, machinery, and irrigation systems. Strong knowledge of plant care, soil preparation, and sustainable horticultural practices. Ability to read and follow landscape plans and specifications. Reliable team player with good communication and client service skills. Commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package of $76,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
