This role will suit someone who lives within 1-2 hours from Wilpinjong or is happy to relocate. Village All-Rounder This role is a great mix in supporting our Chefs and catering team with food preparation, making fruit platters, salads and crib meals. Keeping high standards of food safety and hygiene, cleaning and tidying service areas, assisting with unloading deliveries, stocktakes and other ad hoc jobs in the catering team. Cleaning accommodation rooms, general housekeeping, stripping and remaking beds, general cleaning duties of ensuites, floors, walls and laundry. Also, for extra variety in your role, weekly emptying of camp rubbish bins, pathway hosing, weed spraying and driving to local airports for staff pick-ups, and other ad hoc duties as required. We’re looking for candidates with: Ability to travel into/out from site at own expense Hands-on experience with commercial/industrial cleaning and catering services Previous maintenance experience Ability to maintain strict health & hygiene standards and systems Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Friendly and considerate attitude to promote a positive work environment Unrestricted work rights in Australia To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain: Must have an Australian Driver's Licence (can be any Australian State) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen A recent National Police Check - or willing to obtain Have a current Food Safety Certificate or willing to complete our free online food safety certificate SIRROM, a trusted industry leader and provider with 50 years in Life Support and Facilities Management, is expanding!
