The Volunteer Bar Useful provides friendly and efficient beverage service to patrons, members, and guests. This role is essential for delivering high-level customer service and supporting club operational requirements, particularly during functions or weekend events. Key Responsibilities and Duties • Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar area, tables, and counters clean and tidy. • General Tidiness: Collect all empty glasses and cups, clean ashtrays, dispose of rubbish. • Stock Bar Fridges: Stock bar fridges under direction from bar attendants should they not have the time to refill fridges and cold rooms. • Customer Service: Greeting patrons, assisting with enquiries, and maintaining a friendly, helpful atmosphere. • Safety & Compliance: Checking bathrooms, clearing hazards (broken glass), adhering to ensuring the work environment complies with Workplace Health and Safety legislation. • RSA Compliance: Report any intoxication or security issues to the Bar Attendants and/or Bar Supervisor for resolution. • Other duties: As requested by the management committee.
