Pentium Water Lead the Future of Environmental Approval Projects in Western Australia About Us Pentium Water is a fast-growing Perth-based consultancy providing strategic and informed advice across groundwater, surface water, and environmental planning. Our purpose is simple: to turn water and environmental challenges into assets. Pentium Water is also a wholly owned subsidiary of Vysarn Ltd (ASX: VYS), an integrated water services provider delivering sustainable outcomes across the full water project lifecycle. Backed by Vysarn’s strength and resources, we are continuing to grow our environmental planning capability to support Australia’s transition to renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Over the past few years, we’ve grown rapidly from small beginnings into a respected multidisciplinary consultancy working across renewables, infrastructure, mining, water, urban development, and community projects throughout Western Australia and beyond. The Opportunity As our new Principal Environmental Planner, you will play a leading role in delivering and growing environmental planning and approvals services across renewable energy, infrastructure, resources, and development projects. You will work closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team that values innovation, practical thinking, and shared success. Your technical expertise and leadership will help shape projects that deliver meaningful environmental and community outcomes. Your work will include: Leading environmental impact assessments and approvals strategies. Managing projects through Commonwealth, State, and local approval pathways. Assessing environmental opportunities and constraints. Supporting project planning, optioneering, and design development. Coordinating specialist studies and technical subconsultants. Preparing high-quality technical reports and client deliverables. Supporting stakeholder engagement and client relationships. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth. Identifying new opportunities and contributing to business development. Our clients include some of Australia’s largest resource, infrastructure, and renewable energy companies, along with water authorities, developers, and government agencies. Projects are located across Perth, the Southwest, Pilbara, Goldfields, and regional Western Australia. About You You are an experienced environmental planning professional who combines strong technical capability with practical problem-solving and leadership skills. You will ideally bring: 10 years’ experience in environmental planning, environmental science, or a related discipline. Significant experience delivering environmental approvals for renewable energy, infrastructure, resources, or major development projects. Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or similar. Strong understanding of Commonwealth, State, and local environmental approval processes.
