As part of the Argyle Diamond Mine Closure Project, we are seeking experienced Final Trim Dozer and Excavator Operators to join our team on an even-time 2:2 roster. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant mine rehabilitation projects, working within a high-performing team committed to safety, quality, and environmental excellence. About the Role We are looking for reliable and skilled Final Trim Dozer and Excavator Operators who take pride in delivering quality work, can follow direction, and are equally capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team. Roster: Even time 2:2 Roster (Day Shift) Travel Options: FIFO from Perth or Darwin, or DIDO from Kununurra, Halls Creek, or Wyndham Key Requirements: Operate final trim dozers or excavators safely and efficiently to design and specification Carry out precise trimming, batters, drainage works and rehabilitation shaping Work to production targets while maintaining a high standard of quality Read and interpret designs, plans and digital machine control models Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain equipment to a high standard Work collaboratively with supervisors, survey and site crews to deliver project outcomes Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental and site procedures About You: Demonstrated experience operating final trim dozers and/or excavators within mining, civil construction, or large-scale earthworks environments Proven competency operating Caterpillar D6–D10 dozers or Cat 23t–95t excavators Experience using machine guidance and GPS systems, including Trimble Earthworks and Cat Grade GPS systems Strong understanding of final trim standards, tolerances, and quality requirements Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and consistently in a production-focused environment Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret plans and achieve specification requirements Strong commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance, and equipment maintenance Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team Apply today with a copy of your current resume or contact vitil.com.au for more information.
