ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a dynamic Digital Campaign Specialist (0.8 FTE, initial 2-year contract with the possibility of becoming ongoing) to support SACOSS's advocacy and policy priorities by planning and delivering campaign communications across digital channels. You'll translate complex social policy issues into clear, engaging and accessible content, strengthen SACOSS's public profile, and support member and community engagement in pursuit of social and economic justice in South Australia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the development and delivery of SACOSS advocacy campaigns through the planning, development and execution of campaign communication content and materials that motivate engagement and action Managing SACOSS's digital channels, including social media, website and email communications Tracking and reporting on key campaign and SACOSS channel reach and impact Working with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise the voices of lived experience ABOUT YOU You're a creative campaigner and communicator with strong storytelling skills, a passion for social justice, and a knack for engaging diverse audiences. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited to play a central role in ambitious campaigns for change. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Proven experience in digital communications, campaigning or advocacy communications Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital content skills Practical experience using digital communication outputs such as social media channels, content management systems and email platforms High-level skills and knowledge of digital design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and Hootsuite. Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders Strong organisational and multitasking skills Understanding of, or strong interest in, social justice and public policy issues affecting communities in South Australia A commitment to the values and mission of SACOSS Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full working rights in Australia.
