Excavator Operator| Immediate Start Location: Salisbury Plains, SA About the role TRP Construction is urgently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for an immediate start on a civil drainage project in Salisbury Plains, SA. The work involves box culvert excavation and pipe-laying on an active civil site. You'll be working to grades and levels, operating around underground services, and delivering clean results with minimal supervision. There is potential for ongoing work for the right candidate. What you'll be doing Excavating for box culvert installation and 375mm drainage works Pipe-laying including bedding and backfill Operating to laser levels and pipe grades Working around existing underground services (DBYD awareness required) Following engineering drawings and site supervisor direction What we're looking for Proven excavator operation experience — 5T machine, ideally 8–20T range Background in stormwater, drainage, sewer reticulation or civil infrastructure Pipe-laying experience — RCP, PVC or HDEP Laser level / pipe laser experience for falls and grades Tilt bucket or quick-hitch experience (advantageous) Able to work on an active civil site with minimal supervision Licences & tickets — must be current and valid White Card (Construction Induction) — mandatory Plant Machinery Ticket — Excavator & VOC — mandatory Valid driver's licence and own transport — mandatory EWP, Dogging or Rigging ticket — advantageous The details Pay rate: $50.00 per hour Daily travel allowance: $21.94 Start: Immediate — as early as Thursday 11 June Australian working rights required How to apply If your tickets are current, your experience is solid and you're available now — apply immediately.
