About the Role Are you compassionate, motivated, and committed to making a meaningful difference? We’re seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team, supporting individuals in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home based in Rockhampton . This permanent part-time position offers a stable roster with flexible hours, including sleep over shifts. You’ll work as part of a supportive and professional team, providing person-centred support both in the home and out in the community. What You’ll Be Doing Provide support with personal care, household tasks, and daily living activities Assist with mealtimes and individual dietary requirements Administer medication in accordance with care plans and training Undertake manual handling tasks, including the use of hoists Offer emotional support and build positive, respectful relationships Support access to community activities and services Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities Experience within disability support or a similar care role Someone reliable, empathetic, and aligned with person-centred care Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and weekends Experience or knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) (highly regarded) Essential Requirements Current Driver’s Licence (P2 or open) First Aid & CPR Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Why Join Us?
