Opportunity This role will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of stores and inventory, supporting our operational teams with equipment and material movements, and maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment. It’s a hands-on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to pitch in across different areas of the business when needed. About the Role Manage the receipt, issuing, and return of stores in collaboration with the Procurement & Logistics team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock levels in line with operational needs. Coordinate despatch of goods in an organised and efficient manner. Conduct quarterly stocktakes and contribute to regular reporting. Maintain the Tools Register and notify relevant personnel of any anomalies. Responsible, in conjunction with the yard supervisor, for keeping the yard orderly and clean. Ensure yard is secure and locked at the end of each day. Carry out local collections and deliveries across the Perth metro area. Assist other departments with trade assistant duties as required (e.g. Fabrication, Mechanical). Provide occasional deckhand support during marine operations. About You 2 years’ experience in a similar role A basic understanding of fabrication/engineering tooling and consumables Positive customer and stakeholder service focus Proficient verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy Demonstrates attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Can do attitude and willing to work extended hours if or when required Qualifications & Licences: Valid Driver’s licence (essential) Valid Forklift (LF) (essential) Electrical Testing & Tagging Certificate (desirable) Transport Dangerous Goods Training (desirable) The Benefits: Immediate Start Salary packaging options Employee Assistance program All Australian residing candidates will be considered.
