We're looking for a Business Development Site Inspector to join our Perth-based team. This unique role combines field-based property inspections with business development activities, giving you the opportunity to make a direct impact on both the quality of our services and the growth of our business. A significant part of your role will involve visiting residential and commercial investment properties across Perth, collecting detailed site information that supports the preparation of our industry-leading depreciation schedules. You'll take photos, record building specifications, identify assets and fixtures, and capture information using our mobile inspection systems. Just as importantly, you'll be an ambassador for BMT. You'll regularly engage with property managers, accountants, developers, builders, investors, and other referral partners, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to grow our network. You may also represent BMT at presentations, seminars, industry events and client meetings. No two days are the same. One day you might be conducting a site inspection at a newly completed apartment development; the next, meeting with referral partners to strengthen existing relationships or explore new business opportunities. And while you're out in the field, you're never on your own. Our dedicated support team assists with scheduling and coordination, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service and building valuable connections. About you You're confident, professional and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while building strong relationships with a wide range of people. You enjoy being out on the road, take pride in your attention to detail, and are comfortable networking with industry professionals. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: A current unrestricted driver's licence and flexibility to travel throughout Perth, including occasional overnight stays Strong communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a diverse range of stakeholders Experience in customer service, sales, business development or another client-facing role Excellent organisational skills, time management and the ability to work autonomously Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and recording information Confidence using mobile technology and digital reporting systems A professional, approachable and well-presented manner Experience delivering presentations, training sessions or speaking to groups (highly regarded) Why BMT?
