About the Role: ComfortStyle is seeking a Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our Northam team on a casual basis. We are looking for someone available to work approximately 10–20 hours per week. Hours will vary based on delivery schedules and business requirements; however, the role is primarily weekday based, allowing you to enjoy your weekends. In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring our products are delivered safely and professionally while also assisting with furniture assembly, inventory management and general store operations. This is a physically demanding role that combines customer interaction, teamwork and hands-on work in a dynamic retail environment. Main Duties include - but not limited to: Unload and inspect weekly truck deliveries from Perth, ensuring stock is received accurately and in good condition. Coordinate and complete furniture deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Assemble furniture with care and attention to detail. Maintain an organised and efficient storeroom. Safely lift, move and position furniture using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques. Assist with store merchandising, stock presentation and general store duties. Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service standards, stock accuracy and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Represent the business professionally when working in customers' homes and on customer premises. What we’re looking for: Current unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence with a good driving history. Previous delivery driving experience. Ability to obtain and provide a National Police Clearance. Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience delivering large or bulky goods. Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks. Understanding of safe manual handling practices and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools (highly regarded). Professional presentation, personal hygiene and a positive attitude. Ability to work respectfully in customers' homes and represent the business in a professional manner.
