Due to ongoing growth and high order volumes, Apprentice boiler maker position is available at our Grass Valley WA site with immediate starts for the right candidates. The duties of the position will be as follows: Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements). Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead). Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety to be able to multitask and assist with other roles when required. The successful applicants: Must be energetic and have a willingness to work as part of a team as well as autonomously Have the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings Must be willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to follow direction & show initiative Have a strong attention to detail; and Must be able to conduct their duties in a professional and courteous manner
