Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities. As our organisation continues to grow, ANI is seeking multiple Contract Administrators to join the team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the commercial and contractual management of infrastructure projects across their lifecycle, working closely with project directors and their teams to administer contracts, manage financial processes, and ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: Manage the commercial administration of contracts across the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with all contractual and legal obligations. Administer contract variations, including identification, assessment, notification, and negotiation. Support project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting. Oversee payment processes, including claims, certifications, invoicing, and payments. Identify and manage project risks, including administering extension of time claims and supporting program reviews. Provide timely advice to Project Directors on risk, issues, and matters requiring attention. Prepare and manage contractual documentation and correspondence. Respond to stakeholder inquiries and resolve issues effectively. Undertake additional duties as required to support project delivery. About You: You are a detail-oriented, adaptable and proactive professional with strong organisational and communications skills. You demonstrate sound judgement, integrity, and a high level of professionalism, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment. You will also have: Completion of appropriate qualification and 3 years' experience working in industrial/infrastructure/government environment within a multi-disciplinary team. Highly developed capability in drafting contractual notices and formal correspondence. Ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and translate them into practical actions. Proficiency working with the full range of Microsoft Office applications. Well-established interpersonal skills with proven ability to liaise effectively within a wide range of stakeholders.
