We work on established homes requiring exterior cleaning, render repairs, scaffolding coordination, repainting and protective coatings. We are now looking for an experienced Building Supervisor / Project Manager to manage our residential restoration projects, coordinate our employees, inspect quality and liaise with homeowners. About The Role This is a hands-on project management role overseeing approximately 5-8 active residential projects at any one time. You’ll work closely with our employed renderers, labourers, scaffold contractors, painting contractors and homeowners to ensure projects run smoothly, safely and to a high standard. Your role is to keep projects organised, communicate clearly with clients and trades, solve problems quickly and ensure an excellent customer experience from start to finish. Most projects involve: Exterior surface preparation Scaffolding coordination Render repairs Texture coating and repainting Residential restoration works on 10-20 year old homes What You’ll Be Doing Conducting homeowner “Pre-Start Meetings” Coordinating schedules for 4-5 employees, painters and subcontractors Managing multiple residential restoration projects simultaneously Performing regular site inspections and quality checks Liaising with homeowners throughout the project Ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget Resolving issues and handling last-minute changes professionally Monitoring job site presentation, safety and workmanship Organising materials, trades and daily workflow Conducting final handover inspections with clients Supporting and motivating team members on-site What A Typical Day Looks Like Your day will usually begin around 7:30am onsite meeting trades, inspecting works or conducting homeowner pre-start meetings. From there, your day will be split between: Visiting active job sites across Perth Managing schedules and communications from our Malaga office Coordinating trades and contractors Updating homeowners on progress Reviewing work quality and solving issues as they arise Expect your time to be approximately: 50% onsite 50% office-based/project coordination Toward the end of the day, you’ll finalise the following day’s schedule and ensure all trades and employees are organised and prepared. We also hold: Weekly planning meetings Ongoing support and training Regular team BBQs and catchups About You This role suits someone who: Has residential construction supervision or renovation project management experience Understands render, painting or exterior restoration systems Is highly organised and proactive Communicates well with both tradespeople and homeowners Can confidently manage multiple moving parts at once Handles pressure calmly and professionally Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Enjoys building strong relationships with clients and team members Is practical, solutions-focused and reliable Skills & Experience Ideally, you will have: 3 years experience independently supervising or project managing residential construction, renovation or restoration projects Strong knowledge of residential building practices and site coordination Experience coordinating subcontractors and schedules Strong communication and leadership skills Good computer skills (emails, scheduling, Word/Excel) Excellent time management and organisation A current driver’s licence Relevant construction qualifications are highly regarded The ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate professionally with clients and handle challenges without becoming reactive.
