Key Responsibilities Carry out fault-finding, repairs, scheduled servicing and inspections on concrete pumps, mortar pumps and placing booms in the workshop and on customer sites. Perform mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical diagnostics on equipment, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs in line with OEM standards. Conduct pre-delivery inspections, commissioning and decommissioning of machines, including set-up, testing and verification of safe operation. Complete planned maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, wear component replacement, lubrication and condition monitoring. Respond to breakdowns and urgent service requests, prioritising safety, machine uptime and customer communication. Accurately document work carried out, parts used and time spent using company service reports, checklists and digital job systems. Liaise with customers on-site to explain work required, obtain approvals, provide basic operator training and promote safe operation and care of equipment. Ensure the correct selection, inspection and use of tools, lifting equipment, PPE and service vehicles in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workshop, service vehicle and job site, and participate in hazard reporting, risk assessments and toolbox meetings.
