About the opportunity Due to continued growth across our operations, we’re seeking experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to join our team across ongoing maintenance shutdowns with a leading Iron Ore producer across multiple Pilbara sites in WA. Role Details: Shut Down 08 June – 17 June 2026 ( RTIO Nammuldi) Hourly rates ranging from $77 - 92 per hour (non-trade/trade) Casual basis of employment 12 hours per day, with shift allocations ranging 7- 14 day-swings Upon successful completion you will be added to ADHOC pool for ongoing shutdown allocation At Altrad, you’ll work alongside skilled teammates who take pride in their trade, uphold the highest safety standards, and support each other both on and off site. About you You’re a safety-minded, team-focused professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and contributing to a strong site culture. You’ll bring: 3-5 years demonstrated experience as a Rope Access Mechanical Fitter Nationally accredited qualifications for site access: Construction Induction (White Card) IRATA Qualification - Level 3 IRATA Logbook First Aid & CPR Trade Certificate (if applicable) HRWL - Advanced Rigging (If applicable) Working at Heights (3 year expiry) Confined Space Entry (3 year expiry) Previously completed Rio Tinto Inductions – desirable Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen Genuine concern for safety and the wellbeing of your team A practical, hands-on mindset with the confidence to take initiative Why join Altrad?
