Meridien Energy is a fast-growing solar, battery, and electrical company servicing South East Queensland. With over 6 years in the industry and strong ongoing demand, we're looking for a Trade Assistant to join our expanding installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in the solar industry, with training and development provided. The Role You'll work alongside an experienced team installing residential and commercial solar PV systems , primarily for new home construction projects , meaning minimal roof space crawling and limited client-facing work. Minimum 1 years of roofing or solar installation experience is required for this position. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with solar panel mounting, racking, and placement Running cables and supporting system setup Lifting and positioning panels and equipment Maintaining roof integrity (sealing, waterproofing) Ensuring installs are clean, straight, and professional Working safely at heights and following OH&S requirements What We're Looking For Physically fit and able to lift 25kg, as well as comfortable working on roofs White Card (required) Driver's licence and reliable transport Working at Heights (highly regarded) Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to learn and develop new skills Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship Why Join Meridien Energy?
