Childcare Worker/ Educator Cubs Corner Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Educator / Room Leader to join our early childhood team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the room, creating engaging learning experiences, and supporting children’s development in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, along with a genuine passion for early childhood education and care. Minimum of 12 months work experience in childcare. Key Responsibilities Lead and support educators within the room Plan and implement educational programs in line with the EYLF Observe, document, and support children’s learning and development Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards and centre policies Guide and mentor assistant educators and trainees Support daily routines and behaviour guidance strategies Essential Requirements Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Current Working With Children Check First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates Sound knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards Previous experience in a Room Leader or similar role preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Minimum of 12 months experience as a childcare worker What We’re Looking For A warm, caring, and professional educator Someone who leads by example and supports team culture A motivated individual with strong organisational skills Passion for providing high-quality education and care Commitment to creating positive learning outcomes for children
