Key Responsibilities: Training - · Conduct all aspects of the training for all types of equipment XCMG promotes and deploys in the Australian market and mine sites, including but not limited to equipment overall familiarizations, safety, repair and maintenance theory & practical, High Voltage (HV) electrical theory & practical, operation theory and practical. · Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs on XCMG mining equipment for internal teams (Factory, Sales, Marketing, Support) and external stakeholders (clients, end-users) ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards and conduct training courses where is required by the customers. · Conduct structured training sessions both in classroom environments and on-site locations, employing effective instructional techniques to foster skill development and operational competence. · Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to remain abreast of product advancements and incorporate pertinent updates into training modules, ensuring content relevance and accuracy. · Administer comprehensive training and processes for High Voltage (HV) compliance across all XCMG AC Electric drive Trucks and Electric Equipment, adhering to regulatory requirements. · Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to users of XCMG Equipment, addressing inquiries and issues promptly to maintain operational continuity and client satisfaction. · Deliver superior customer service throughout the training lifecycle, offering responsive assistance and solutions to ensure a positive client experience and effective knowledge transfer. Product and Technical Support – · Conduct meticulous inspections of electrical systems, proactively identifying and mitigating potential faults or inefficiencies to prevent operational disruptions and safety hazards. · Maintain current training-related certificates in accordance with applicable state regulations, demonstrating compliance and proficiency in Australian standards. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AC electrical drive systems and other electrical components within XCMG equipment, employing analytical skills and technical expertise. · Uphold strict adherence to Australian mining regulations and laws, integrating industry best practices and operational standards into all training and support activities. · Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions during operational phases or as preventive measures, ensuring equipment reliability and performance efficiency. · Foster collaborative relationships with clients to ascertain specific requirements, preferences, and challenges, facilitating tailored solutions that meet unique operational demands. · Assist sales teams by providing specialized technical insights during client engagements, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing technical documentation and proposals to support business objectives. · Serve as a technical liaison for customer inquiries and support requests, delivering prompt and effective resolutions to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and operational continuity. Requirements: · Hold at a minimum TAE40116 or higher, Certificate IV in Training and assessment. · Minimum Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification required for this trainer position. · Competencies for scope of mobile equipment competent to operate. · A good mechanical understanding of mobile equipment. · Experience with any mining equipment is essential for this role. · A good understanding of electrical systems. · Minimum 5-10 years of mining equipment operation experience required. · Minimum 3 years of training or instructional experience required. · Able to work within the mining sector without limitations (i.e. site bunnings). · Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position. Desirable: · Fitter or Electrical trade qualification would be highly regarded.
