Tableland Aircraft Maintenance & Cape Air Transport is looking for a experienced Accounts / Payroll Office Staff for a Part Time Permanent position with flexible work hours onsite in Mareeba, North QLD. Duties will include but are not be limited to: Generate Sales Orders/ Invoices, Debtor statements. Daily accounting related functions, bank reconciliation, monthly accounting/ specific monthly reporting. Cross checking Creditor invoices against purchase orders, processing into our computer system (MYOB). Reconciling Creditor statements/ Processing Creditor Payments Banking/ Processing payments from Debtors Prepare/process weekly payroll and related reports, Single Touch Payroll. Superannuation Clearing House Fund Payments. Maintain employee records, update employee database Daily ad hoc duties including scanning, filing, mailing Successful candidates need to have: Previous experience in an accounting based role (preferred minimum 3 years) A working knowledge of Single Touch payroll and MYOB or similar accounting systems (Essential) Thorough understanding of account processes with a high attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency within MS Office applications, notably in Excel, Word and Outlook Accurately prioritizes and multi-tasks, strong organisational skills Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, uses initiative Ability to work independently and autonomously Pro-active nature Good time management skills Excellent communication skill Please include a cover letter with your application, describing the position that you are applying for, including your availability.
