About you The Assistant Financial Controller’s primary responsibility is to act as 2IC to the Financial Controller in ensuring the long-term financial solvency of the business. This involves overseeing and regulating corporate funds and accounts, establishing budgets, forecasts preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, and financial risk management. To take charge of the day-to-day running and management of the Accounts Department and take ownership of the general ledgers, financial management and reporting, including: You will have: Proven working experience in a senior accounting role in the automotive industry 5 years of accounting experience An Accounting degree, CPA or CA preferred Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating financial statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Looking after you We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
