About your opportunity This senior clinical role within the Acute Care Team at Townsville University Hospital plays a key part in delivering responsive mental health care for people presenting in acute distress. You will provide triage, comprehensive assessment and consultation liaison for individuals referred through the Emergency Department, acting as a key point of entry into the Mental Health Service Group outside of regular business hours. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support timely clinical decision‑making and safe care pathways. While primarily based in the Emergency Department, the role also includes opportunities to work across hospital and community settings to support continuity of care. The role operates within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and contributes to 24/7 mental health service delivery through a rotating roster.
