About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join Dib Associates & Accountants' team in Southport, Queensland. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive financial and taxation services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic firm. What you'll be doing Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for clients Conducting thorough tax planning and compliance activities to ensure clients meet their tax obligations Providing strategic financial advice and recommendations to clients to optimise their financial performance Collaborating with clients to understand their unique business needs and challenges Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the accounting team What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Significant experience (1 years) in a similar Accountant role, preferably within a professional services or accounting firm Strong technical skills in financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory services Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes Current enrolment in, or concrete plans to start, a CA or CPA program.
