About the Role This role will be the first point of contact for young people, their families, and any other stakeholder accessing our youth mental health services and corporate Head Office. Key responsibilities include: Provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for young people and others accessing our services Manage incoming telephone calls, SMS reminders, voicemails and emails in a professional and effective manner Data entry of relevant client information into organisational databases and software systems within a timely manner Booking and scheduling of appointments including completion of forms, redirection of referrals when suitable, and managing cancellations Provide administrative support for our programs and teams, including data entry, minute-taking, Medicare billing, travel bookings and other admin tasks Maintain a tidy and youth-friendly reception area and meeting rooms About You To be considered for this position, applicants will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar reception and admin role (experience within healthcare or community service is advantageous) Well-developed interpersonal skills ensuring friendly and welcoming experiences for stakeholders, whilst maintaining professional and effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Outlook and willingness to learn new software/programs as needed Ability to multi-task and work independently within a team environment Capacity to work with complex and confidential matters in a discrete and sensitive manner Must possess a deep understanding and appreciation for diversity within the workforce and within our client and stakeholder base Willingness to routinely work late shifts until 7.30pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday 'C' Class Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle To successfully become part of our team, it is just as important to align with our values as it is to meet our selection criteria.
