We don't want a salesperson who learns the product. We want someone who's already itching to pull the cover off and see what's inside. Safiery builds the brains and muscle behind modern marine, RV, automotive and industrial power systems. We're a 22-strong team of engineers, firmware developers and technologists on the Gold Coast, shipping to 20 countries, and we punch well above our weight — including back-to-back DAME Award nominations at METSTRADE Amsterdam, the world's biggest marine equipment show. Here's the part most "tech companies" can't claim: we have NVIDIA Jetson modules in our products. We have working AI in over 1,500 live installations right now — not slideware, not a roadmap promise. Our STAR Controllers, Scotty AI DC-DC converters, solid-state lithium batteries and the new Quasar vessel operating system are out in the field doing genuine edge-AI inference today. The role You'll sell solutions — not boxes — to OEMs, distributors and serious end users across Australia and internationally. That means understanding what the customer is actually trying to build, then mapping our platform to it and closing the deal profitably. Day to day you'll: • Develop compelling packages across automotive, truck, RV and mobile industrial power (including trailer-based and mining applications) • Sell the Quasar platform, STAR Controllers, Scotty AI, BMG and our Solid State Lithium range • Own relationships with OEMs and distribution channels, and chase new ones • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our engineers — and hold your own in those conversations • Travel to customers and the occasional international show. Who we're really looking for The non-negotiable is curiosity about technology . If "NVIDIA Jetson", "Matter", "digital switching", "MQTT" or "edge AI" make you lean in rather than glaze over, we should talk. You'll thrive here if you: • Genuinely love technology and learn it fast — you ask "how does that work?" before "what's the price?" • Have experience in control systems in a marine environment with Victron Energy, Mastervolt or PLC systems in automation. • Have sold technical or engineered products before (power, electronics, automation, automotive, marine or industrial is a bonus, not a must) • Are comfortable in a fast, agile team where engineering judgment is expected, not feared • Can translate deep tech into a clear commercial case a customer will pay for • Are self-driven, organised and happy working from a home base with regular customer travel We're an equal-opportunity employer and we put safety first, always.
